In the Women Who Inspire book, Shawn Ciociola takes us on a harrowing journey of self-discovery through circumstances that most will likely face. Her openness about her last days with her loving father is touching and her insights into looking at his death through the eyes of gratitude is a reminder to all that there is beauty in heartache. Her chapter entitled; “It Is in Giving That We Receive,” is a special tribute to her late father whose “smile lit up a room” and a reminder to all of us to take the time we have to create the memories we want to create.
During our conversation on the Intentional Inspiration podcast, Shawn and I talk about everything from taking care of elderly parents, meditation and taking responsibility for our own energy to allowing the blessings that go along with the heartbreak. Shawn also gives us her top 3 daily disciplines. It’s a truly inspiring conversation that you won’t want to miss.
