The Aggressive Optimism Podcast – Two Small Town Girls – 2020 Clarity

In this final episode of 2019, Katie and I talk about how being a control freaks can be productive and not stressful as long as you’re focused on controlling the things you can actually control, how setting intentional margins and finding a community can help set you up for success in the new year and I announce some changes for the podcast in 2020.

As a small-town girl from Minnesota, Katie exceeded her career goals as a lawyer, (and gave up a hefty salary), to unexpectedly leave it all behind. As a dedicated entrepreneur, Katie is passionate about showing others how to build more wealth in their lives and businesses, by shifting their mindset and taking imperfect action.

She has an affinity for personal development, a love for system automation and an obsession for productivity hacks. Katie is a #1 International Best Selling Author. She graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato, Magnum Cum Laude with a B.S. double major in Speech Communication and Political Science in less than three years.  She also holds a J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law. In her law career, she championed causes for social good and was recognized on the front page of the Washington Times. She’s been recognized in the top 5% of her network marketing company and is currently an active member of Leadership Arlington. She is a mom to her two active children and a wife to her husband, Kyle. They live in the Washington D.C. metro area.
